Down here in the BS dungeon, the one thing we probably love just as music around here is food (we also consider beer a food, by the way). Our resident neo-folkie, Ben Weaver, entered an essay challenge to be included in Anthony Bourdain's book, "Medium Raw."

In July, Andre went home to Detroit to play in a big fancy room in front of a lot of fancy people for the 210 Detroit Concert of Colors.

Check out THIS video of him doing his classic "Bacon Fat."  Included in his band are Matthew Smith (Volebeats, Outrageous Cherry, producer of Andre's last album), Don Was, and Dennis Coffey of the Funk Brothers (check out that wailing solo...)

Ha Ha Tonka are playing in NYC on August 25th at the Highline Ballroom as part of Playboy Magazine's "Rock the Rabbit" concert series.
