Sammy Brue has been writing songs since he was 10 years old, ever since his father receiving an acoustic guitar from his father for Christmas.
His debut album, I Am Nice, got a heap of praise: 4-stars from Mojo, called a "marvelous debut record" by Paste, moving Rolling Stone to call him an “American prodigy” and even made American Songwriter crack open their German dictionary to dub him a “wunderkind.” Noisey went on to gush, "the future of Americana/Folk/Country is in very young, very capable hands." and we couldn’t agree more. So we signed him and we can’t wait to tell you exactly why his next album just had to be on Bloodshot. Stay tuned.
